Experience Through Their Eyes

A friend recommended Celia's. The Special Quesadilla was really good and the shredded beef taco was delicious. Will definitely stop again when in town.

Hubby and I had a wonderful breakfast here. We have odd food intolerances (gf, night shade free and vegetarian) and easily found options on the menu. We love supporting family businesses and quirky places and Cecilia's ticks those boxes. Cecilia, who started the business with her husband in 1994 is still running the restaurant, and her, along with her twin sister and cousin gave us great service and conversation.

I had the chili relleno dinner. Everything was quite good. The salsa was a bit more spicy than the average in AZ but it had good flavor so I didn't mind the sniffles. Even the beans and flour tortilla were good. I initially put 4 stars but changed it to 5 when I realized the only negative I could find was that the rice was just average. Service was good. I never even asked for a refill of my iced tea it just magically happened :-)

Delicious spot for lunch on the way home from San Diego. Cecelia (Chica) our waitress was so friendly, attentive & helpful. The special Quesadilla was an amazing fried dough pocket filled with cheese, just heavenly! I ordered the chiles rellenos, my hubby ordered the machaca with tortilla. Both were extremely flavorful. We ended the meal with Bunuelos, deep fried dough with honey, cinnamon and ice cream on top. Wow!!! Amazing lunch and there were no leftovers, we ate it all. The staff was quick to clear dishes and then clean the tables and vacuum after each customer left. Bathrooms clean & tidy also. Can't wait to go back again. Try Celia's Restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

Best Mexican food restaurant in the Imperial Valley, in my opinion. Hard working staff and very attentive. Try the special quesidilla. Only in the imperial valley does it exist. Don't forget to tip, they deserve it.

We ordered to-go from this little Mexican spot and were really impressed. The staff was incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed--plates, napkins, and plenty of salsa. The flautas were noticeably larger than usual and packed with flavor. The salsa was a nice surprise: chunky and blended just right--not too watery. Great service and Good food!
